No one could’ve anticipated the circumstances that we faced last year, but we are proud of the products and services we were able to provide our new and existing customers.
After the challenges of 2020, we are eager to kick off the new year as we already have a great deal planned in for 2021 and beyond.
Read what our Director Jonathan Skinner had to say about what’s in store for Marshall Catering Equipment:
What plans does Marshalls have for 2021?
Our plans for 2021 are to recover from the ongoing pandemic and build on what we have learned over the last year, we aim to work in and around project work further developing our BIM offering, tender creation and consultancy work.
Do you think the complications around Covid-19 and the lockdown will help or hinder business in 2021?
I think it will continue to hinder our industry, the psyche of people now has been damaged when it comes to social interactions, it will take some time for a lot of people to recover.
Saying that, I do think that initially the hospitality industry will experience a ‘boom’ early on after all restrictions are lifted. There’s no real band-aid for everyone, some will just jump right back on the horse while others may not.
What do you think will be your most popular service in 2021?
It’s hard to say but I think our consultancy work will be popular given the extremely high standard we work to, we are able to trim the rubbish out of tenders we receive and give people great value for money as well as great design.
What is the team most looking forward to this year?
I think the team is most looking forward to everything settling down and us returning back to some form of normality, just generally going to the office, bringing structure back to the working week will be a huge lift!
Where do you expect to see Marshall in five years’ time?
I hope to see Marshall flourishing in the project work we work so hard on now, I hope to see us growing and continuing to work with our customers to make the projects we work on a success.
